DISCOVER OUR YOGA CLASSES
A gentle approach, using mostly passive and restorative asana, some pranayama and meditation techniques. The class is open to all levels of experience, including beginners and yoga practitioners recovering from injury. We use yoga props to allow each student to feel supported, bringing any adjustments they might need in order to become more open and present in their practice.
Throughout the class, we use our breath and energy awareness to enable our innate connection between our physical body, mind and soul.We usually finish every class with a short, guided meditation whilst in Savasana. The intention for our weekly meditation varies with some classes featuring only the sound and vibration of calming music or our time/space outdoors as a "walking meditation" through nature.
The class includes (weather permitting) a walk throughout the woods and lakes to allow our practice to continue outdoors immersed in nature. We hope each class offers the student space for self-absorption and connection on/off the yoga mat in the studio.
Note: 1-2-1 Classes also available, please contact us if interested (Preferebly in person but on zoom also available).
WHAT THEY SAY
“I have been attending Tika’s wonderful yoga classes in person and on-line for a couple of years now and it is the highlight of my week! Tika is so intuitive and wise and her love for what she does and the people she supports shines through every lesson. I leave each class feeling like I’m floating on a cloud. Tika has so much warmth, knowledge and humour and I feel so lifted and encouraged by her words and teaching. It’s not just a yoga class. It’s mediation and mindfulness, yoga and wisdom all rolled into one. I recommend her to everyone! Thanks Tika🙏"
